Key Responsibilities

• Provide proton radiation therapy services within a Level 1 trauma center setting.
• Operate and manage advanced radiation therapy equipment, including therapy vaults and a CT scanner.
• Perform specialized procedures such as cardiac device interrogations, endoscopy procedures, HDR, and brachytherapy.
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
• Complete a 5-day orientation and follow designated shift schedules (typically 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm, with potential variation).
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification and AR state license.
• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience (2+ years preferred).
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates considered.
• Covid vaccination not required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Familiarity with cardiac device interrogation, endoscopy, HDR, and brachytherapy.
• Comfortable working with multiple clinical rooms and advanced imaging/equipment.
