Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a multidisciplinary unit
- Assist with procedures such as pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis
- Collaborate with a team of RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and patient protocols
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemo certification or oncology-specific training
- Experience in medical-surgical units or with oncology procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate willingness to learn
