- 13-week contract, night shifts, full-time (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Collaborate with obstetric and postpartum teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Monitor fetal and maternal conditions during labor and delivery.
- Document patient progress and procedures accurately in the EMR system.
- Assist with postpartum care and patient education as needed.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment following hospital protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Active BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Valid state RN license.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Travel experience, first-time travelers accepted.
- Knowledge of Level IV trauma center protocols is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a staffing ratio of 1:4 to 1:5 depending on patient census.
