Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the cardiac catheterization lab, including cardiac cath with intervention, device implants, peripheral vascular, stroke, structural heart procedures, STEMI, and stroke patients
- Administer conscious sedation and utilize ACLS/BLS protocols
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments
- Operate and manage specialized equipment such as EPIC, CUPID, GE MAC LAB, EKOS, Balloon Pumps, Impella, Angiovac, FFR, and IVUS
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Follow proper safety, documentation, and procedural protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience
- Active ND or Compact RN license (willing to obtain/convert if needed)
- AHA BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to provide nursing care for complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Critical care experience in ICU or Emergency Department
- Experience working with large hospital systems and advanced cardiac procedures
- Familiarity with computerized charting and medication systems
