• Registered Nurse - CVOR
Location
• Kissimmee, FL
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel – Days shift, 8.5 hours per shift, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries in the CVOR setting.
• Assist surgical team before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage perioperative care in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiac surgical services.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license applicable in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent CNOR or CVOR surgical nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and perioperative processes.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
