• Full-time, nights shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 25-bed Medical Surgical unit, including stroke, post-operative, and various critical care cases
• Coordinate care for patients with diverse needs such as heparin drips, drains, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and wound care
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with unit protocols and policies
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient outcomes, particularly for stroke and hospice populations
• Complete comprehensive onboarding, including modules, policies, and floor orientation shifts, to ensure readiness for immediate patient care
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday, including mandatory coverage for Christmas Eve and Christmas

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent Med/Surg experience, preferably with travel background
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, with a flexible, quick-start approach post-orientation
• Experience with stroke patient care and certification is preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stroke certification or specialized training in neurological care
• Experience managing complex post-operative and critical care patients
• Strong knowledge of wound care and infusion therapies
• Ability to handle diverse patient populations, including hospice and comfort care
