Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 4x10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room setting
• Assist with organ transplant procedures, including organ placement and related tasks
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sterile protocols during surgeries
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Document patient information and procedures accurately and thoroughly
• Adhere to all facility policies and standards of practice

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent, direct experience in Liver/Transplant OR RN role
• Valid permanent Ohio nursing license (compact licenses accepted for starts after 1/1/23)
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS (must be current at time of submission)
• NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start date)
• Proficiency in using surgical equipment such as Misonix and CUSA
• Recent experience placing or organs back into patients (not just harvesting)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant surgeries
• Experience working in teaching hospitals or Level Trauma facilities
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
