• Full-time, 3 nights per week (12-hour night shifts)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide compassionate nursing care to adult patients in a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital setting
• Float between medical-surgical floors at main hospital and Ashley River Tower, adapting to different unit needs
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately using EPIC charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Follow established protocols for trauma, emergency response, and safety guidelines
• Work in a fast-paced environment with varying patient ratios and unit assignments
Required Qualifications
• Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
• Willingness to float between units and work on holiday rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital environment
• Strong charting skills with EPIC or similar EHR systems
• Prior experience with emergency response or trauma nursing

Additional Details
• Shift: Night (3x12 hours) from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Travel compliance required, including SSN verification and RTO restrictions at submission
• Local candidates preferred within 60 miles of Charleston, SC, with consideration for out-of-area candidates on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
• Hurricane season readiness: Employees may be assigned to emergency response teams from June through November
• Parking permit available through hospital parking management office for a $20 registration fee
