Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) for a 20-bed facility.
• Manage complex patient cases including arterial lines, venous and arterial sheaths, vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients.
• Document patient information accurately using MediTech system.
• Adhere to unit protocols, including bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocols.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries and technical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain certifications and compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience.
• Valid ACLS certification.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system.
• NIH certification or similar advanced training preferred.
• Ability to handle advanced procedures such as managing invasive lines and vasopressor drips.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing ventilated patients.
• Familiarity with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennet ventilators.
• Strong critical thinking and fast decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
