Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Dickson, TN
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, 13-week assignment, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit at a 26-bed hospital.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Perform patient rounds, administer medications, and implement physician orders.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort through hourly purposeful rounds and bedside reports.
• Support unit operations and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude with good time management skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with Alaris IV pumps and other standard Med Surg equipment.
• Ability to float to other Med Surg units as needed.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
