Job Title
• Registered Nurse - ICU

Location
• Frankfort, Kentucky

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Days shifts, 13-week assignment, approximately 36 hours per week (3 shifts/week, 12 hours each)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in a hospital ICU setting
• Monitor telemetry systems and manage critical patient needs
• Utilize advanced skills including ventilator management, port access, and therapeutic phlebotomy
• Assist with procedures such as chest tubes, NG tubes, and wound vacs as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards

Required Qualifications
• Active Kentucky or Compact State nursing license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH certification (must be renewed annually)
• Must have at least 12 months of recent ICU experience with telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vacs, drains, post-dialysis assessments, central lines, blood transfusions, and ventilators
• Skilled in advanced patient assessments and critical care procedures
• Proficiency with Meditech Expanse documentation system
