Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center

• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate with healthcare team

• Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes

• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements

• Participate in unit-specific duties, including holiday rotations and occasional floating to similar units

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license

• BLS certification

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting

• Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs

• Compliance with travel and license verification requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital

• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and handle high-acuity cases when needed
