Key Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care in an acute care hospital setting during night shifts.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, medications, and drips with a focus on reading rhythms and managing cardiac protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care in compliance with clinical standards.
• Document patient care accurately using the designated electronic charting system.
• Float within scope across units or facilities as needed to meet hospital staffing requirements.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and patient privacy regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license issued in Missouri or a compact license adhering to Missouri requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of current telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and commit to 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.
• Must be comfortable with reading cardiac rhythms, medications, and drips (no titration).
• Strong understanding of electronic charting systems, experience with EPIC preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, including holidays and weekends.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and managing medication drips.
• Previous hospital telemetry experience within an acute care setting.
• Familiarity with hospital policies regarding float shifts and compliance standards.
• Ability to pass all required health and credentialing screenings, including return-to-work policies.
