- Full-time, Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, reading rhythms, medications, and drips, with no titration needed.
- Document patient progress accurately using the EPIC charting system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and treatment effectiveness.
- float within scope to meet facility needs, including within hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including uniform and equipment standards, and work on weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid State Nursing License (MO or compact license accepted at submission; Illinois license required prior to start).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
- BCLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
- EPIC charting experience.
- Ability to read cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac medications and drips (no titration).
- Must meet travel compliance deadlines, including SSN, DOB, and facial hair requirements for fit testing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Prior telemetry experience involving rhythm interpretation and cardiac medications.
