Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, dayshift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), working 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients on the unit
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments using equipment such as IVs, Kangaroo pumps, and SCDs
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other appropriate units as needed following hospital policy

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to perform procedures including IV insertions and patient assessments
• Strong documentation skills in electronic health record systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with hospital-specific policies and procedures
• Ability to adapt to unit technological equipment such as Kangaroo pumps and SCDs
