Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nursing care for surgical and medical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Demonstrate strong ortho and surgical skills to assist patients with recovery and post-operative needs
• Follow established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in medical records
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care sessions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and Nursys license verification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or orthopedic surgical care
• Strong clinical skills in ortho and surgical patient management
• Ability to work evening/night shifts with no planned time off (no RTO)
• Clean work history with no gaps greater than 60 days, including proper documentation such as skills checklist, references, and certification cards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment with diverse patient populations
• Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems
• Ability to quickly adapt to new procedures and protocols
