• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, recognize ECG rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and clinical workflows.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient assessments and interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Ohio permanent license or compact state license in hand.
• Active BLS & ACLS certifications (Must obtain NIH before start date).
• Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Minimum of one recent managerial reference in the specialty applied for.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
• Passing score on both assessments (ECG and safeMedicate).
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (10-panel + cotinine).
• BCI/FBI clearance completed within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital within the Cleveland Clinic system is a plus.
• Previous experience with NICOTINE free facility requirements (Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine testing).
