• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shifts.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize ECG rhythms, and administer medications safely.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.
• Complete assessments, document patient information accurately, and follow hospital protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and standards of care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing before travel.
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start.
• One recent managerial or supervisory reference in the relevant specialty.
• Active certifications with no pending items.
• Complete BCI/FBI background check within 48 hours of contract signing.
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen within 12 months of start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or supervisor references are a plus.
• Experience working in a hospital setting with compliance standards.
• Familiarity with Qualivis – Lotus for hours submission.
