Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shift (3x12-hour shifts) from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a hospital setting
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to patient needs during night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (Epic experience required)
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and safety standards

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 months recent Perm Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Valid Ohio license or Compact license in hand (licenses from Compact states accepted for starts from 1/1/23 onward)
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (NIH certification must be obtained prior to start)
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass safeMedicate assessments during orientation (acceptable score on both)
• One recent management, supervisor, or director reference in the specialty applying for (from the past 12 months)
• Must have permanent Ohio license at submission; no license hits accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience working every other holiday as required by the facility
• Knowledge of hospital safety and infection control policies

Note
• Candidates cannot re-enter Cleveland Clinic hospitals within 1 year of previous assignment
• Fingerprinting (BCI/FBI) is time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Extensions allowed up to 18 months; a 6-month break is required thereafter unless client approves deferment
