• Days, Full-time, 1 shift per week
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee delivery of patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• Provide direction and coordination of nursing care based on standards and clinical best practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to ensure efficient clinic operations and optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as a resource for staff and patients, applying age-specific and cultural considerations.
• Support organizational mission by delivering compassionate, quality care across all age groups from birth to elderly.
Required Qualifications
• Licensed in good standing as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
• Minimum of 4 years of charge nurse experience in a clinical or urgent care setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduated from an NLN-approved nursing program.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• BSN degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to document and interpret care procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and nursing process management.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and administer treatments and medications.
