Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Days shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Perform basic patient assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Manage wounds, drains, chest tubes, tracheostomy, ostomy, and post-op care including amputations and wound vacs
• Assist with procedures such as dialysis and PCA pump management when required
• Ensure safety checks, bedside shift reports, and effective communication with patients and care teams
• Follow hospital policies on infection prevention, fall prevention, medication scanning, and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Ability to perform basic patient assessments and general care
• Experience with post-op procedures, wound care, and patient monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with dialysis or PCA pump management
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
