Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Support surgical teams during procedures across a variety of specialties including Neuro, ENT, Orthopedic, Transplant, Trauma, and Robotics.
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
- Manage and organize surgical trays and equipment for efficiency during procedures.
- Support ancillary tasks within the surgical department as directed by senior staff.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (NBSTSA preferred, NCCT not accepted).
- BLS certification.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
- Willingness to support diverse surgical cases including neuro, ENT, orthopedics, and robotics.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of surgical tech experience in a Level I Trauma Center or similar setting.
- Experience with neuro (spines, crani), ENT (flaps), and robotic cases (DaVinci Xi).
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system and sterile processing protocols.
