- Full-time, day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting
- Assist with cardiac surgeries and other cases within the CVOR
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Demonstrate scrubbing skills and support intraoperative procedures
- Prioritize time-sensitive modules and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of permanent CVOR experience
- Valid Ohio license or compact license (for those eligible), with active certifications
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current at the time of submission)
- NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start date)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, trauma-level teaching hospital environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
- Familiarity with cardiac OR procedures and setup
- Previous experience with short-term acute care or teaching hospitals
