• Full-time, travel (13-week assignment), on-site, days shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, anesthesia providers, and hospital staff.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout surgical interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Louisiana RN license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• ACLS certification from AHA.
• One year of recent CVOR experience in a surgical setting.
• Five years of surgical scrub experience.
• Experience working with infant to older adult patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including working past 3 PM when required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
