Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy FSED setting.
• Perform procedures including tough sticks, large bore IV placements, blood cultures, and triage assessments.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions with minimal oversight.
• Utilize EMR systems (Meditech) for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with a small, dedicated team of nurses to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
• Support emergency response procedures including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in FSED or Emergency Department setting.
• Proficiency with tough sticks, large bore IVs, blood cultures, triage, and patient monitoring.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIHSS, and CPI certifications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Over 2 years of ED/FSED experience.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
