• Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location
• Olathe, KS
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week contract, Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, rotating weekends, no on-call
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Telemetry unit at a busy medical center
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to arrhythmias or emergencies
• Administer cardiac-related medications including drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation)
• Manage post-procedure care, including TR Band applications
• Float to various acute care units as needed
• Follow hospital protocols and ensure patient safety
Required Qualifications
• Valid Kansas RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience, including experience with cardiac drips and TIKOSYN/Sotalol initiation
Preferred Experience / Skills
• 2–5 years of telemetry experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, acute care environment
