Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department of a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver timely and efficient patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while adhering to hospital policies and protocols.
• Document patient information accurately using the Cerner system.
• Maintain certification compliance prior to start date, including ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC.
• Demonstrate exceptional patient experience skills, including respectful behavior and effective communication with diverse patient populations.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience, with at least 1-year in an Emergency Room setting.
• Experience working in high-volume EDs (>100,000 visits annually), trauma, or stroke centers preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (ENPC within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, and float within all ED areas.
• Strong teamwork skills, coaching, and feedback capabilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience at a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center.
• Familiarity with complex ED procedures and advanced monitoring equipment such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors.
• Prior experience working with diverse patient populations in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of hospital-specific systems and policies, including Cerner documentation.
