Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to ICU patients in a high-acuity environment
• Titrate vesicant medications, manage pressors, sedation, and paralytics
• Utilize telemetry interpretation and understand hemodynamics, PA catheter setup and interpretation
• Perform complex procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertions, chest tube management, and other invasive interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document accurately using Cerner electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• ICU nursing experience (minimum 1 year)
• Strong skills in titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics
• Experience with vents, trachs, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to perform invasive procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertion, and chest tube management
• NC RN license (active)
• BLS certification required; CCRN preferred but not mandatory

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced devices such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Familiarity with protocols for Vents, Trachs, and telemetry interpretation
• Knowledge of hemodynamic assessment and PA catheter management
