Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights shifts, travel assignment, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an inpatient step-down/IMC setting, focusing on telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (Cerner).
• Adhere to unit policies, including floating to ED hold area and other inpatient units as needed.
• Demonstrate compassion and positive attitude while delivering patient-centered care.
• Follow strict protocol for dress code and safety standards, including mandatory certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Telemetry competency with acute inpatient care experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts and float to designated areas.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience highly preferred.
• Prior experience in a stroke or cardiovascular unit.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a patient load of 4-6 patients with varying care needs.
