Key Responsibilities
• Provide pediatric physical therapy evaluations and treatments to enhance patients' functional abilities.
• Develop and supervise individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams, referring providers, patients, and families to coordinate care and facilitate patient education.
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational standards.
• Conduct therapy services in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, community locations, and patient homes, with occasional travel.
• Assist with clinic operations, evaluate medical equipment needs, and support interdisciplinary team efforts.

Required Qualifications
• Current Alaska Physical Therapist license.
• Entry-level master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, or equivalent work experience with continued education.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must have active flu vaccination and submit two fingerprint cards upon acceptance.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Pediatric therapy experience is essential.
• Experience in community-based settings and home assessments.
• Familiarity with billing procedures and medical equipment fitting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including cross-cultural sensitivity.

Additional Notes
