- Full-time, Days shift, 5x8 hours
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care, outpatient, or long-term care setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using facility-specific charting systems, such as Epic.
- Cover within scope of practice, including floating to affiliate hospital locations if needed.
- Work during major holidays as required, with flexibility to accommodate a block schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid occupational therapist license in Alaska, or pending license accepted (10-12 weeks processing time).
- Certification in BLS, NBCOT, and proof of Alaska licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to work 8-hour days, with availability to work major holidays.
- Must provide at least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in a similar setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic or similar electronic charting systems.
- Prior experience working in acute care or trauma-level facilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and adapting to float positions within scope.
