Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, day shifts (3x12 hours), weekdays with rotating weekends and holidays, some weekend and holiday work within the contract period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care including ventilator management and patient assessments
• Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs) (preferred but not required)
• Assist with pediatric and adult patient ventilator needs
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Work independently as the sole therapist on weekends
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS or NRP certifications (must be current prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; vent management and pediatric experience preferred
• WV or Compact License (pending license acceptable)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle ventilator equipment
• Clear references from previous managers or charge nurses within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
• Travel experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting with vent management and pediatrics
