Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to patients with neurological and traumatic injuries, including TBI, SCI, stroke, amputation, and deconditioning.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physiatrists, nurses, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage patient care during a typical length of stay of around two weeks, ensuring optimal recovery and safety.
• Administer treatments and therapies, working closely with therapy teams for approximately 3 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and certification requirements.
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility staffing demands, with the ability to accommodate scheduling requests.

Required Qualifications
• Valid WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted with active license prior to start).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in a specialized rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification via the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend.
• No restrictions on RTO; must include requests during application.
• Must meet COVID vaccination requirements; flu vaccination required unless medically exempted with documentation.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with neurological or traumatic injury rehabilitation highly beneficial.
• Strong collaboration skills within interdisciplinary teams.
