Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Location: Vero Beach, FL

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, day shift, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interventional and structural procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) suite
• Provide expert patient care before, during, and after cardiac procedures
• Assist physicians with catheterization, electrophysiological studies, and device implant procedures
• Monitor patient status, recognize arrhythmias, and respond appropriately
• Document procedures accurately and adhere to safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP specialty prior to travel
• Valid Ohio license (permanent or compact licenses accepted for starts from 1/1/23 forward)
• Active certifications with no pending renewals (must include ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate; assessment scores required)
• References from managers, ANMs, supervisors, or directors in the specialty from the past 12 months
• BCI/FBI background check completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Nicotine-free environment required for all travelers except Nurses and CSTs (exempt from nicotine-free requirement until further notice)
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within the past 12 months, updated annually

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with catheterization procedures, electrophysiology, or device implantation is highly desirable
• Ability to quickly adapt to high-stakes clinical environments
