- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement patient care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care in accordance with unit standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect towards staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Maintain all required certifications and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and urgent situations as they arise.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico RN license or a valid Compact state license.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Knowledge of maternal and neonatal care best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
