Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in the Intensive Care Unit for adult patients.
• Coordinate and implement nursing care plans tailored to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient progress, respond to emergencies, and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and respect for patients, families, and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA.
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and work extended hours.
• Physical ability to perform patient transfers and position patients as needed.
• Excellent communication skills appropriate for adult patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in critical care or ICU settings.
• Knowledge of advanced life support protocols.
