Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology (EP) units.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to clinical changes during procedures.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
• Administer medications and manage patient care before, during, and after interventions.
• Maintain documentation in electronic health records using Epic.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including radiation safety.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Cath Lab or EP setting.
• Valid South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Radiation badge required (agency provides badge).
• Ability to work independently with a 1:1 patient ratio.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology.
• Ability to work a block schedule upon manager approval.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
