Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts (18:30 - 07:00), 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in the operating room for various surgical procedures, including Level I trauma cases
• Provide specialized nursing care for surgeries such as General, Orthopedics, Spine, Trauma, Plastics, Cardiac, Vascular, Urology, Podiatry, Liver/Kidney Transplant, GYN Oncology, Peds, and others
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, including documentation and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality perioperative care
• Maintain all required certifications and documentation, including BLS and valid California RN license

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, including circulation duties in a Level I trauma environment
• Valid California RN license (permanent, not temporary) in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting highly preferred
• Up-to-date profile, references, recent Nursys report, and COVID vaccination documentation required at submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with general, bariatric, colorectal, surgical oncology, thoracic, reconstructive breast, or gender-affirming surgeries
• Flexibility to float within the hospital as needed
• Ability to work a 4th shift every third week and handle in-house or on-call responsibilities in a 6-week schedule
