- Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Float between units including Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments.
- Manage post-operative care, blood administration, and wound vac management for trauma and orthopedic patients.
- Provide patient care in a Level II Trauma Center with 379 beds.
- Adhere to facility dress code and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and shift requirements, including working holidays as scheduled.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state RN license (compact license accepted).
- At least 1 year of relevant RN experience, preferably in acute care settings.
- Ability to work night shifts and float between units as needed.
- Current references covering at least 1 year of supervisory or charge nurse experience within the past 3 years.
- Must be able to work within a 50-mile radius of Lubbock, TX.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with orthopedic trauma care, post-op management, blood transfusions, and wound vacs.
- Familiarity with hospital policies regarding patient care and safety.
- Ability to adapt quickly to unit changes and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
