Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient assessments, administer treatments, and monitor vital signs.
• Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Respond efficiently to emergency situations and prioritize urgent patient needs.

Required Qualifications
• Valid nursing license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER (Emergency Department) experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience is mandatory.
• Willingness to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous Charge Nurse and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.
• PALS, PTNCC, CPI certifications are advantageous.
• Flexibility to float to other Cone Health campuses if necessary.
