• Full-time, Nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the progressive care/step-down unit for a 300-bed acute care hospital
• Manage patients requiring critical care interventions, including CRRT, Bipaps, chest tubes, and PICC lines
• Perform lab draws, conduct codes, and handle consults independently
• Float to ICU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED units as needed with prior experience
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies during assigned shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas RN license or Compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/ICU or step-down units
• Experience with critical care procedures and equipment (CRRT, Bipaps, chest tubes, PICC lines)
• Ability to manage own codes and conduct consults independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment with multiple inpatient units
• Comfortable floating between units including ICU, Med/Surg, Tele, and ED
• Knowledge of hospital EMR systems, particularly EPIC
