Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care for diverse patient populations in the operating room.
• Assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including General, GYN, Robotics, and Cardiothoracic.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety, proper sterilization, and adherence to protocols.
• Ensure accurate specimen handling and documentation using electronic charting systems such as EPIC.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards including fire safety, infection control, and radiation safety.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and support different units as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room RN experience.
• Valid state nursing license (pending license accepted).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Experience with robotic surgery systems, particularly Da Vinci Xi, preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and safety procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma Center experience preferred.
• Experience with telehealth, scrub duties, or telemetry is a plus.
• Prior exposure to teaching hospital environments.
