Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 4x10 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in an EP lab, supporting complex procedures such as implants, ablations, LAAO, cardioversions, tilt table tests, and TEE procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electrophysiology nursing, with a minimum of 2 years' EP lab experience.
• Collaborate with anesthesia team for the majority of procedures, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Maintain stamina and skills to meet high-volume lab expectations in a busy referral center.
• Float within scope of practice as needed and adhere to facility policies, including module completion during orientation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience in a cardiac or EP lab setting.
• Valid Virginia or compact state nursing license.
• EP experience with implants, complex ablations, or related procedures.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Current SSN, DOB, and legal authorization for employment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience with inpatient telemetry or critical care is a plus.
• Familiarity with VCU’s policies, including fingerprinting and module completion.
