• Full-time, 3x12-hour days (days), on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in an acute care hospital setting.
• Possess trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic experience to manage trauma cases effectively.
• Cover one night shift as needed within the contract period.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and ensure patient safety during all phases of surgery.
• Follow established protocols using Epic charting system.
• Work within a designated ratio, floating between units or nearby facilities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or surgical nursing experience, including trauma, neuro, vascular, or ortho.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 or 9:00 start times) and be flexible for occasional night shifts.
• Willingness to work holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and to float within the hospital or nearby facilities.
• References: Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 6-12 months of recent, relevant experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a busy acute care hospital setting with trauma cases.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols and teamwork in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with Epic charting system is highly preferred.
