• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry
Location
• Maryville, TN
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, including step-down from ICU without vents or pressor support (heparin, cardizem, amiodarone, sotalol initiation).
• Monitor telemetry, assess patient conditions, and respond to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure adherence to protocols.
• Complete pre-assignment testing and annual modules, including EPIC EMR documentation.
• Participate in hospital floating assignments within qualified units, as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Tennessee active nursing license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Adult Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Ability to work night shifts (18:45 - 07:15).
Preferred Experience / Skills
• ER holding experience preferred.
• Prior experience withTelemetry monitoring and step-down units.
• Floating within hospital facilities based on skill set and unit needs.
