Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) for adult patients undergoing cardiac surgeries, including open heart, transplant, and trauma cases.
• Scrub and circulate during various cardiac procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety protocols.
• Rotate call duties with staff, participating in on-call coverage for cardiac surgery cases.
• Assist with a wide range of case types including neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, robotic, hybrid procedures, and ambulatory surgeries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a large hospital environment that handles adult patients across multiple specialties.
• Float between ORs as needed, maintaining flexibility in location coverage.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR OR experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to scrub and circulate for cardiac surgeries.
• Must have a valid nursing license.
• Complete COVID-19 vaccination series or valid exemption prior to start date.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting.
• Familiarity with a variety of case types and patient diagnoses related to cardiac, neuro, trauma, and transplant surgeries.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills to support floating between multiple OR environments.
