Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform head-to-toe assessments for residents.
• Manage patient care in a skilled nursing facility with a focus on chronic and acute conditions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, dieticians, social services, and case managers.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and maintain documentation in Point Click Care EMR.
• Support charge nurse duties and participate in team conferences as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care.
• Comfortable with first-time travel assignments.
• Experience with IV administration for fluids and antibiotics.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with dementia care and common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, DM, and rehab patients.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent assessment and patient management skills.
