Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Location
• Newport News, VA

Schedule / Job Type
• Days, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each

Key Responsibilities
• Float across Medical Surgical and Telemetry units based on facility needs
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for accurate documentation
• Comply with all travel and hospital policies, including travel restrictions and licensing requirements
• Support stroke and NIH education initiatives for appropriate units
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications
• Active Virginia nursing license (or proof of compact license)
• NIH and stroke education certification (must be current at time of submission)
• EPIC EMR experience in acute care settings
• Certification/licenses as specified by facility (attached at submittal)
• SSN available at the time of submission for background verification

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Recent experience within the last year in Medical Surgical or Telemetry units
• Prior supervisory reference available for compliance purposes
• Ability to float between multiple units as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
