• Tech - Endoscopy Tech
Location
• Charlottesville, VA
Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
• Perform and assist with endoscopic procedures in a hospital setting
• Prepare and sterilize endoscopy equipment and instruments
• Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in electronic health records
• Maintain a clean and organized procedure area adhering to infection control standards
• Collaborate within the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
Required Qualifications
• Valid state license or pending license (must have license in-hand by Wednesday before start date)
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience with EPIC and Provation software platforms
• Knowledge of SGNA standards and CER requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working as an Endoscopy Technician or in a similar role
• Familiarity with medical instruments, sterilization processes, and patient care protocols
• Ability to float within scope of practice across various departments as needed
