Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across pre-operative, intra-operative (circulating), and post-anesthesia care (PACU) settings.
• Conduct patient assessments, document care, and deliver emotional support.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with processing instruments and equipment.
• Coordinate transfers and recover patients following procedures.
• Assist healthcare team members and provide patient education.
• Adhere to infection control principles and departmental policies, following national standards from relevant organizations.

Required Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pre-op, OR, or PACU.
• Certification in ACLS required; CNOR certification and scrub experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in surgical suites handling general, OB/GYN, ophthalmic, and orthopedic surgeries.
• Ability to perform effectively in high-stress environments with strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods, and handle blood and bodily fluids safely.
